SERVICE TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Vitronix Limited, an Irish-registered limited company (Company No. 646592), with its principal place of business at Unit 2, 106c Lagan Road, Dublin Industrial Estate, Dublin 11, D11 TX99 (“Vitronix”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By engaging our services, the customer (“Client”, “you”, or “your”) agrees to be legally bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions

“Services” refers to all work provided by Vitronix, including diagnostics, repairs, installations, and custom integrations related to vehicle electronics and security systems.

“Client” means any individual or entity requesting or receiving services from Vitronix.

“Agreement” means the legally binding arrangement between Vitronix and the Client, based on these Terms and any applicable quotations or written agreements.

3. Scope of Services

Vitronix provides specialized services in the field of vehicle electronics repair and vehicle security systems, serving both individual and business clients. Our scope of work includes, but is not limited to:

– Vehicle diagnostics using professional-grade tools and software

– Vehicle electronics repair, including ECUs, sensors, and instrument clusters

– Hardware component replacement, such as airbag units, ABS modules, and steering angle sensors

– Software updating and ECU reprogramming

– Hybrid battery repair and cell balancing for electric and hybrid vehicles

– Vehicle security system installation, including alarms, immobilizers, and tracking solutions for cars, vans, motorbikes, and camper vans

All services are delivered by qualified technicians and aligned with the specifications agreed upon through quotations, invoices, or formal service requests.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients engaging Vitronix for services agree to the following responsibilities:

– Provide full and accurate information about the issue or request, including any previous interference or modifications made to the vehicle’s hardware or software by third parties or the client themselves

– Ensure the vehicle or components are in a suitable state for diagnostics, repair, or installation

– Cooperate with technicians and provide access as required for service completion

– Follow any post-service guidelines or instructions provided by Vitronix

– Accept full responsibility for any unauthorised changes made to the vehicle’s systems prior to the commencement of Vitronix’s work, including any resulting complications or damages

Failure to meet these responsibilities may limit the scope of service or warranty coverage.

5. Fees and Payment Terms

– All prices will be agreed upon by email before work commences.

– Any changes to the agreed price must also be confirmed by email before any work begins.

– Payments are due upon collection/delivery unless otherwise agreed.

– We accept major payment methods (cash, card, bank transfer).

– Late or failed payments may result in withholding of the repaired component or a 2% monthly interest charge.

6. Warranties

We offer a limited warranty on all services and components repaired or installed. Warranty duration and terms vary depending on the specific service and will be outlined in your invoice or service record.

Warranty does not cover:

– Tampering by third parties

– Electrical faults caused by other systems

– Physical or water damage after service

7. Confidentiality

Vitronix agrees to treat all Client information with confidentiality. Similarly, the Client agrees not to disclose any proprietary methods or pricing information received during business dealings.

8. Data Protection

Vitronix is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679 – GDPR).

– Customer data is collected only for service, communication, and invoicing purposes.

– Information is stored securely and processed via tools such as Gmail, Excel, and WordPress plugins.

– Clients may request data deletion or review in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vitronix is not liable for:

– Indirect or consequential loss

– Client-modified systems post-repair

– Loss of business or data related to system failures

Total liability is limited to the total fee paid for the specific service performed.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate an agreement by written notice. In the event of termination:

– The Client must pay for services rendered to date

– Repaired or diagnosed components may be returned unrepaired or at partial cost

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes arising will be resolved in the courts of Ireland.
